Gregory House

Greg House is a doctor on a TV series. The first time I watched it, I felt very identified with Doctor House. He is a very intuitive professional that knows very well how medicine works and sees and interprets symptoms and details in every case.I’m not a doctor, but this is exactly what I feel in my field of knowledge. I see things with extreme clarity  where others don’t see anything and keep guessing all the time till they find a “kind of” “possible solution” that most of times is completely wrong.

I compare this feeling to what an average intelligence adult would feel in a kindergarten.

Yes, been an adult in a kindergarten is a fairly good advantage. You can tell the kids which is the right way to do something, but as they think they are intelligent enough, they keep doing whatever they think is right until they understand it is not going to work.Being an adult in a kinder-garden is something frustrating, if you want anything solved the right way, you must do it yourself, so, whats the point on having so many kids around? That’s why this kind of people are lonely. They are fed up of stupidities.

As you are good at your job, your boss promotes you to a management position and you have to deal with a group of kids that don’t know where their feet are. At some point, you try to awake observation and reflexion on them, so you have to stress a bit the situation, so they feel forced to think. Of course, you have to demonstrate first that you see further than them, but this is something that comes with time.

On the first chapters, Dr. House was a strict but nice and kind of listening person, very professional and a little bit eccentric yes, but on the last chapters, he has become a stupid selfish person (I’m talking about the 3rd season)

People that are good at their jobs, are also good on lots of other things, so they should be good as managers too. And if like House, you count on people, that means that you should tolerate them. And if you are intelligent enough to see what other people can’t, you should be intelligent enough to see whenever you are wrong.

The more intelligent you are, the wiser you become and wisdom makes you more respectable with others. So this means that House is a complete contradictory fiction led by viewers who are probably asking for what is happening right now.
